Welcome to Turun Ringette's website!

Turun Ringette is one of the oldest ringette clubs in Finland. It was founded on the year 1981 to the origins of Turun Siniset which was the oldest ringette club in Finland. In fact, Turku was the first place in Finland where girls played ringette!

Today we have around 200 players, one team on each age level and ringette school of course. During the season 2011-2012 we also have a team in Ykkössarja which is the second best league in Finland.

We have been quite active in international events during these years. Almost every year some of our teams goes abroad to play in different tournaments and we also have hosted different teams when they have been playing in Finland.

On the year 2011 we are glad to organize two big international tournaments which collect a lot of teams to Turku. First of them is Summer Cup for c- and B-juniors which will be played on 5th-7th of August in Kupittaa. The second one takes place at the end of December when the best teams of the world will come to Turku to solve the Wolrd Championship.
